bohoEATS… Oven Roasted Chicken 101





This is such an easy go-to during the week/// just turn that oven up real high!  


3 organic chicken breasts with bone and skin on
Organic Olive Oil
salt/pepper
baking sheet lined with parchment paper
*(you could add sliced lemon wheels, rosemary, or just about anything you desire on top of chicken)

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.  Pat dry the chicken breasts with a paper towel.  Then, place chicken onto the baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.  Sprinkle salt and pepper and pop it into the oven!  Bake until skin is golden brown about 30-45 minutes.  (There should not be any pink inside)  

Let chicken rest for 10-15 minutes and slice crosswise.  I like to serve it with steamed broccoli, quinoa pasta or make roasted chicken salad.  Keeps in refrigerator for a couple of days.
